Wedding Stories – Jacqueline and David

 

They met in a well known coffee shop in a busy city centre. She, a Russian miles from home in the UK for just a couple of weeks. Him, on a break from work and dying for a cup of tea.

As she ordered he asked her where she was from and why was she so far from home. She replied by asking why was he ordering a cup of tea in a coffee house.

It was love at first sight, for them both.

Two weeks of nightly dates, followed by weeks and weeks of travelling to spend time together, led them to their wedding day, less than a year since that first coffee house chat.

David and Jacqueline chose a private, intimate ceremony for just them and their children and immediate family. They plan a much bigger celebration later in the year when Jacquelines Mum and other family members can fly over from Russia.

There were tears at this wedding, overwhelming emotion, quietly expressed.
