A Willow Pattern themed wedding- York Wedding Photography

If you love colour, you’l adore this beautifully crafted and styled wedding, which had a Willow pattern theme. Louisa had been told a beautiful story as a child by her Grandmother, centred around the tale on a chinese willow pattern plate. That inspired this beautiful wedding day.

I loved the family heritage table linen used on the tables, the homemade Sloe gin, ( Louisa’s and Rob’s first tipple on announcing they were engaged, as thats all her mum had to hand), the elegant bridesmaids dresses, and most of all those flowers. Just stunning.

So many elements of this wedding were handmade. Not least, the bunting took weeks of work, there were miles of it across the marquee, and the groom’s mother did most of it!

The couple married in their local church, with a reception in the garden of Louisa’s Mums house. The weather was fabulously kind, especially as Louisa and Rob walked with their guests from the church back to the house.

So here are some of the highlights of the day, no particular order, just moments caught on this most beautiful of days. Enjoy.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Jordan, wishing you many years of happiness together.
