A Hodsock Priory Wedding

Wild flower meadows, a ballerina, gorgeous just picked bouquets, romance novels and sugary candy….a perfect wedding description huh?

Stephanie and James’ big day was big on style and romance, it was so special, filled with laughter glorious sunshine and beauty to make you swoon .

Their choice of venue was Hodsock Priory, which has now officially made my favourite venues list. This beautiful house was the perfect setting with its manicured lawns, gleaming chandeliers and history. I just adore it, and when I discovered a wild flower meadow by the side of a stream running through the grounds I was in total heaven. No wonder this lovely couple chose this as their venue. it’s swoon worthy.

Stephanie looked incredible in her gown complete with a black sash, her bridesmaids wore a mulberry shade, and the tables were decorated with little teacups filled with wild flower looking blooms and pearls, there were also romantic novels on the tables for guests to indulge in.

The couple also surprised guests with a performance by one of their bridesmaids, who also just happens to be a ballerina, she was incredible and I don;t think there were prouder people in the room than her family.

So here are some highlights from the full wedding collection. There’s no particular order to these, just images I love from the day. I honestly struggled to keep this down to a reasonable number because this wedding includes some of my most favourite shots, EVER.

Enjoy;

James and Stephanie are over the moon with their images, as am I. I adored this wedding and I adore this lovely couple, capturing their big day was a genuine pleasure and joy.

My love and congratulations to them both, I wish you years of happiness and love.

My sincere gratitude to the team at Hodsock Priory who made me so welcome, fed me some delicious food ( my love to the talented chef) and who even ran off to grab a step ladder when I clearly needed one, thank you Hodsock Priory!

Finally my love and best wishes to both families, but especially Maureen, Stephanie’s mum. She booked me from Dubai having heard about my work, and surprised the couple by announcing they had a photographer! Thank you for trusting me. I hope I’ve done you proud.
