Boudoir Photography- a blush coloured shoot

Blush pink, one of my favourite colours ( you only have to look at my website to know that!), and so flattering on women’s skin.

Its the perfect colour for a Boudoir shoot, soft, romantic and chic.

Margaret chose it as the theme for her Sweet Reveal shoot, back in April of this year. Margaret wanted to surprise her husband- to-be,  Lee with an album of beautiful boudoir images on the morning of their wedding. I think in the end she surprised herself as much as Lee, because until finding my website I really don’t think Margaret would ever have considered such a shoot.

She poured her heart and soul into this. Preparing a spare room, sanding floorboards, distressing furniture, painting metalwork and sourcing beautiful props. How she kept it a secret from Lee I will never know, but she did indeed manage not to let a word slip about our day together creating this incredibly beautiful set of images.

These are some of my favourites, although it was so hard to decide which ones to choose. I think Margaret looks incredible in these photographs. I’m sure you agree.

To find out what Margaret and Lee think of these pictures, read on….

Doesn’t she look a dream? And who would ever believe this was a girl so nervous and shy at the start of the shoot? It just goes to show how transforming The Sweet Reveal shoots can be, and I am so VERY proud of that.

Here’s what Margaret thinks about her shoot;

“ I really liked the idea of doing a ‘boudoir’ shoot for my husband to be. That was until I looked up ‘boudoir photo shoots’ on the internet and saw the search results! My idea was a dreamy, beautiful, elegant and radiant shoot. However the search results were mainly women with tacky underwear in not-very-flattering poses! Oh dear. Luckily I stumbled upon Cat Hepple Photography for my wedding not long after this, and then saw that Cat did ‘Sweet Reveal’ boudoir shoots that were exactly what I had been looking for.

The shoot was amazing! I enjoyed every moment of searching for outfits beforehand, and being creative with what to wear. Cat was just ideal for this kind of shoot, and put me at ease straight away. She is such a lovely person, I really could not have picked anyone better. She understood my vision of what I wanted to capture and made it a reality. We had lots of laughs and giggles and it was a really fun afternoon! The images came out beautifully, just as I had hoped. This shoot enables women to be their true selves and portray their inner and outer beauty to their future husband. What could make a better wedding present?
And what about her now husband Lee? What did he think to a little charcoal coloured leather album arriving in a beautiful box the night before the wedding?…
“When I opened my gift on the morning of the wedding, I was blown away by how seductive and sophisticated the album was. I was taken back by how my gorgeous bride to be looked! It was the best and most thoughtful present I could have received. I couldn’t wait for the honeymoon!!”

Margaret and Lee, thank you both SO very much for such kind words, I’m so thrilled you love the images.

Margaret thank you for putting your faith and trust in me, and for going to so much trouble to make this shoot look as amazing as it does. I’m SO proud of you.

More on the Sweet Reveal shoots coming later this week, including a brand new website just for Boudoir.
