A Secret Wedding- Louise and Damian

I’m not much good at keeping secrets, so having to keep the location of Louise and Damian’s weddings under wraps for months, has been a bit tough.

The couple wanted to surprise their guests with their regal choice of venue, and wanted to spoil them with a day of relaxed luxury. And they managed it ! Well done Louise and Damian, that was quite a secret to keep.

The guests were taken to Goldsborough Church on Saturday morning, and finally many realised the big day was to be celebrated at the magnificent Goldsborough hall. My wedding stalkers, I mean, fans,  ;-)  will know I adore this venue. Louise and Damian fell in love with it’s grandeur, it’s privacy and the incredible grounds.

And they set about creating a stylish, elegant day. SO, where to start with all the details?

From the secret wooded path from the church to the venue, complete with ribbons strewn from the trees and tealight lanterns, to the 12 tier wedding cake modelled on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s cake, through to the incredibly beautiful Aruna Seth blush pink shoes, a Lusan Mandongus gown, and even a lace corsage made for the brides daughter, from lace created by Elizabeth Emmanuel, the wedding dress designer of Diana, Princess of Wales.

Oh yes, this wedding has much to get excited about, and did I mention the softest blue, green and pink bridesmaids dresses and bouquets, the flower girls floral crowns and the bride and groom singing their own first dance?…..

These are just a few highlights, a few of my favourite shots of the day…. and yes, sunset was incredible set amongst the line of trees planted by the Royal family. Seriously this wedding was sensational. So here are some sneak peeks, boy was it hard to chose just a few tasters. Enjoy!

There are SO many more images to share with the couple when they return from honeymoon. You can imagine how hard its going to be to edit this incredible day down to a sane number of photographs! So you can look forward to much more from this wonderful wedding, soon.

For those in love with the cake, or the flowers, ( and who wouldn’t be),

The 12 tier Cake, fit for a Princess was created by Just Darling Cake

and those incredibly beautiful flowers are the artistry of Leafy Couture.

Many congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Longley on a magnificent day filled with emotion, and beautiful details. What a joy it was to be with you.

More photographs to cherish soon.
