The Sweet Reveal – Boudoir shoot of Kirsty

I approach my boudoir shoots with love. They have nothing to do with overt sexuality, instead my focus is soft, romantic sensuality, shot in an editorial style. Women who book me for these shoots want to be celebrated, to look sensational and to feel empowered. Boudoir shoots can do just that. It’s perfectly possible to look sexy, sensual, seductive and yet still exude class and elegance. That’s what my Sweet Reveal shoots are for.

We start with a mood board, an idea of the kinds of imagery which inspire you. We consider a location for the shoot ( it rarely, if ever involves a bedroom) and we begin to look at styling. I have an amazing team who we can look to for expert advice on hair and make up and lingerie styles. We craft the shoot, always with the emphasis on romance and gentle seduction.

This is Kirsty’s Sweet Reveal shoot. Inspired by the 1960′s look of Sophia Loren, we were lucky enough to gain use of an incredible 97ft yacht in Hull Marina. Kirsty looks demure, sexy, beautiful, romantic, wistful, seductive… the many facets of a woman.

There’s a strong fashion look to these, and that seems to fit the Loren influence. But there’s still a serenity and calmness to the imagery. Here’s a few of my favourites.

i love the mix of the imagery, the light and shade, after all that’s what is in a woman’s heart. And I hope these shots reflect that.

Sweet Reveal shoots start at £295.00 and include the shoot and a small album of images to slip under your grooms pillow the night before your wedding.

To book your ” Sweet Reveal ” Shoot just drop me an email cat@cathepplephotography.com or call me on 07931 557794. You can look as stunning as this, and I guarantee your groom will just love the results. My next two boudoir shoots include a whimsical boho romantic look, and a Bond girl inspired look. The sky is the limit with these.

A wonderful team helped pull this shoot together, and I can’t recommend any of them highly enough. For my dream team for boudoir, look no further;

Hair and Make up- Victoria Farr

Lingerie – Jayne Winn at Sheer Bliss

A fabulous film of this shoot was made by the lovely Emma Wilson from Story of Your Day films. More of that soon.

My love and sincere thanks to the wonderful Kirsty, who embraced all my ideas and brought so many of her own. A total joy to work with and utterly beautiful too. Thank you.

And finally my love and thanks to Ellie Woodruff for being such a fabulous assistant. You are such a star.
