A Priory Cottages Wedding – Katie and George

I’ve long had a love affair with Priory Cottages in Wetherby. It’s such a tranquil, serene and idyllic wedding venue, and if you add glorious sunshine pouring from the skies and a couple devotedly in love, it’s the perfect mix.

George and Katie’s wedding was absolutely bathed in sunshine. The forecast was not nearly as good as the actual weather on the day, and Katie tells me it’s a family tradition to plant a silver spoon in the garden the night before a wedding, to grant wonderful weather to the bride- and it certainly worked on this day.

I love Katies style, very chic and elegant, she looked absolutely radiant. her bridesmaids in a very soft green looked fabulous too and those flowers…. just perfect for the setting and the style.

The wedding itself was at Pannal church and then family and friends headed to the Priory to enjoy an incredible afternoon and evening in that most rare of commodities, an english summers day!

So here are the highlights of their day. There’s so much inspiration here, I’m sure my brides to be will adore this wedding… enjoy.

Just HOW gorgeous was the sunset? I just love the last hour before the sun disappears from the skies, the light is so soft and gentle and I’m so glad Katie and George were up for a few minutes of photographs in the hazy sunshine.

This was a really wonderful day, and my sincere congratulations to Katie and George on a triumph of a wedding day.

My sincere gratitude to Serena and the wonderful team at The Priory too, who always look after me and work so incredibly hard.

Absolutely beautiful. These capture very special moments throughout a very special day. It was a privilege to be a part of it.
