The beauty of wedding albums

” We want a disc of images” I hear this line virtually every single day. So many clients want digital files. Why?

What makes you believe you need digital files at all? What will you do with them? Print them cheaply yourself at a photo booth in a store? Put them on Facebook? Email them to friends?

All of these of course are part of our digital lives now. We share our images on technology every day. Social media is a great way to share immediately, but will those images still exist, will those sites still exist in 20/30/40 years?

High streets offer cheap printing, which is great for holiday snaps, but why spend money bringing in the expertise of a photographer like me only to print the photos at a budget booth, with no opportunity to colour profile those images, or ensure they will last? That’s why you book a professional. To create imagery you’ll want to cherish for a lifetime, so why not have the highest quality prints of those images too?

I think it’s time to value the professionally printed image once again. Printed photographs form family archives. THEY are what your children, your grandchildren will find, share and enjoy. Long after the DVD has become obsolete, long after Facebook has vanished from our lives, its your PRINTED images which will beautifully preserve your memories.

My albums are works of art. The colour tones, the quality of reproduction, the beauty of the leathers and velvets ensure these are utterly stunning and will last for decades.

This is what some of my wedding clients have said about their albums;

“ The album is beautiful, we are beyond words in love with it. The whole family is now coming for lunch on Sunday for a viewing!!” Amy and Chris Walker

“My mum LOVES the album, she was crying when she looked at it” Andy and Carla

“Just wanted to let you know that Paul and I are thrilled with our album, its stunning! Thanks for all your help and hard work last year in helping create Beautiful memories for us, it was a pleasure to have you involved, and we’re thrilled with all the images.” Jenny and Paul Balfour

Here is Rachel and Nick’s album. Wrapped in the softest italian leather and encased in peony pink velvet. This will be treasured for generations.
