A new look for Cat Hepple Photography.


She’s new…. do you like her? She’s my rather lovely new icon, a part of my new branding and I’m a little in love with her.

We are surrounded by brands every single day of our lives, whether we even notice them or not. From the tea you drink, the train company you use, the lipstick you wear, or the hair salon you use.

All companies are fighting for our attention in this age of advertising and social media and the Wedding industry is no different. The photography pool is vast and for many couples it’s overwhelming, too much choice in a sea of similarity. 

After another successful year of weddings, I’ve been looking at my own brand, how my business is developing, how I need to stand out and the direction I want it to head in over the next few years. It’s time for a change.

Over the next few weeks my company identity is changing, I’m re-branding with a new look, fresh, directional and glamorous. I’ve been working with the incredible Melissa Love of Melissa Love Designs  on this transformation. She’s nothing short of a genius.

The brief was to create a brand identity which conveys my business values, and represents me and the service I offer. It HAS to be glamorous, it HAS to be directional and must avoid all the typical wedding cliches. And she’s only gone and done it!

I’ll write much more about the move to the new brand soon, but I thought I’d share just a few snippets from the new look. Over the next couple of weeks the new branding will appear on everything from Facebook, emails and the blog to my brand spanking new website. I really hope you LOVE it as much as I do.  It all ties in rather nicely with the opening of my new client lounge too, which is now ready to play host to consultations and viewings. 

I’m so excited about the future for me and my couples. And if anyone would like to name the gorgeous icon, I’d love to hear from you. She’s a 70′s chick by the way…
