Sweet Lovers Love the Spring…The engagement shoot of Tara and Jamie- Clumber Park

Tara and Jamie have taken 8 years to reach this point in their lives- just a month to go before their wedding. But it’s been worth the wait.

They giggle a lot ( especially Tara), they chat a lot, yup, Tara again, they are really funny, and are about as well suited as any couple I’ve ever met. We spent the day together at Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire, in early spring sunshine- we felt so lucky!

The couple are marrying in Essex next month. With family and friends travelling from all over the world to be with them (many of whom they’ve not seen for months and months)  it’s going to be a very emotional day, thats for sure.

Tara wore a gorgeous little cape for the shoot, and decided to rock it out and be brave in heeled boots- what’s a little damp soil underfoot when you need to look glam afterall? Jamie looked really cool in a fab jacket and scarf- he really reminded me of a hollywood actor, but I can’t think who. Tara pointed out it was more likely the comedian, Lee Mack, but that wasn’t quite who I was thinking of!

Jamie is so cool, so unfazed by everything and anything. I have a feeling these too will cope with whatever life throws at them – so an engagement shoot was a breeze. They took it all in their stride and the results are, well, stunning….

How unbelievably gorgeous are these two…. can you imagine what their wedding day images are going to look like?…

After the long journey home Tara emailed me to say how much she loves the images and how she never dreamed she would.

I’m so thrilled for them both, because both Tara and Jamie told me before the shoot they never, ever like photographs of themselves. So to know these images are loved, and loved enough to hang up at home is really something quite special. It means they have memories to treasure of our fun day at Clumber Park. Memories of the final month before one of the biggest days of their lives.

The next time I see this fabulous couple, they’ll be promising to be together forever. I have a suspicion there won’t be a dry eye in the house, mine included.

Tara and Jamie, my love and thanks to you both for being so wonderful to work with and for trusting me so implicitly.

Wonderful Cat – some really lovely posing and natural moments captured. I especially love the one against the wall with all the space above and the little series behind the cute window. And looks like you had some lovely sun too! Perfect!

Thanks so much Adam, we were so lucky to have some sunshine! The little outbuilding was quite a find, and we made the most of it ! Some of my favourite images there too. Thank you for taking time to leave a lovely comment x
