Never mind the weather, there’s love in my heart….the marriage of Kirsteen and Richard at Yorebridge House

Driving through the glorious Yorkshire Dales in early October, the skies were heavy, the clouds were laden, it was pouring down and there was no sign of any brightness on the horizon.

But when I arrived at Yorebridge house, you’d never have known the day was quite so gloomy. For inside was one of the most serene brides I’ve ever photographed. Kirsteen and Richard never stopped smiling on their big day and they positively embraced the weather, right down to the hot pink wellies…

With a church wedding followed by a reception at Yorebridge house, converse trainers for the paige boys and a VW camper van, this wedding was a total joy.

Then there was the pretty, and oh so much pretty. Blooms in vintage teacups, gorgeous designs from I am Nat, and the most fabulous gown of course. It’s all swoon worthy !

and finally a few romance shots to end the day – who said rainy days spoil weddings? Not for a second ! ( especially with my movie light in tow)

What a truly gorgeous wedding. We loved every second of it, and we are thrilled that Kirsteen and Richard adore their photographs. Congratulations to you both on an extraordinarily beautiful wedding, thank you for donning the wellies, trudging across fields, dodging the curious sheep and always staying so incredibly calm and serene. We know you agree, it was totally worth it.

Beautiful photo’s Cat, as usual! I love this venue – it’s a shame it’s too far for us to travel to now :( xxxx
